Whenever I call a function that inserts a copies a table from Excel and pastes it to a Powerpoint Slide, with additional resizing. The table is resized automatically, when it doesn't fit the pagesize, and also seems to ignore my top parameter aligning the table vertically centered in my slide. How do I stop Powerpoint from doing so?

VBA Code:
    Set ppShape = ppSlide.Shapes(ppSlide.Shapes.Count)
    ppShape.name = "tableSummary"
    ppShape.Left = 48.02496
    ppShape.Top = 95
    ppShape.Width = 864.45
    ppShape.Height = 245

Another version is without the height, because I want Powerpoint to keep the height from Excel.

Since I now came across a similar problem with charts, I might add that this code works well, when executed alone, but not so when executed in a series of function calls.
