Table Sort

I built a table to track work orders, the table length varies. I want to sort the data accroding to the date in the first column.
 

Excel Facts

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Sort by date Sort by votes
Welcome to the Board!

Highlight your data range, got to the Data menu/ribbon, select Sort, and choose your first column A as your Sort by column.

Excel's built-in help files have a lot more details on Sorting, if you need more details.
