Im trying to set up a function to reformat addresses for us. For example USA would come off our system as Usa and we normally have to amend it to USA.

Obviously there are many different types of formatting issues that can occur so I was hoping for an easy way to keep tack of them and add new ones.

Is it possible to have some sort of table somewhere in the function so I can get it to look for the error in the left hand column and in theory vlookup the correction in the right hand column?

Any help would be much appreciated

How do you create a table and then vlookup from it in VBA?

As this is a function and it will need to be used across multiple spreadsheets surely it all needs to be done in the code, unless there’s another way.

how many items are you looking at being in the table?

Probs about 20 - 40ish maybe.

If not I take it I will need to string a lot of IFs together?

you could probably do a macro for the on_change of the worksheet, i'll have a look in a mo
