I have two workbooks. One contains just one tab and the other has numerous tabs – one tab for each row in the first workbook. The tab names in the second workbook correlates to a cell value in the first workbook. The first workbook has numerous columns of information which I would like to have automatically inputted into the second workbook. Here is a basic example of the two workbooks:

Workbook 1
Tab Name/Data1/Data2/Data3
A/1/2/3
B/1/4/2
C/5/2/1

Workbook 2 – Tab “A”
Data1/1
Data2/2
Data3/3

Workbook 2 – Tab “B”
Data1/1
Data2/4
Data3/2

Workbook 2 – Tab “C”
Data1/5
Data2/2
Data3/1

Please note, for each project, the number of tabs could vary.

Is this possible? If so, I'll be happy to post with actual workbooks.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Great to know! Is this something you are willing to write for me? What do you need if you are willing to do so?

Hi again sunrise06,

Having the two workbooks would be helpful, and that way I can put the macro directly into your Workbook 1 and test it there.

I am sending you my email address via PM.
