Hi, is it at all possible to determine the slope of a line after graphing it in Excel?

Is it possible to draw a second line tangent to another line?

And is it possible to draw best fit lines or curves? I've had to kind of fake it by drawing them myself, so I know they aren't very accurate, so it would be better if Excel can draw them itself.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.

See the LINEST worksheet function.

>Is it possible to draw a second line tangent to another line?

Wouldn't that just be the original line?

See the Add Trendline feature of Excel charts.
