Hi all

Wondering if anyone can be of assistance.
I tried recording a macro myself but have limited knowledge of excel and haven't had any luck trying achieving what I'd like.

What I'd like is to have a template or macro that enables me to browse to the location of the csv file I wish to load, and upon selecting the file, create a chart according to the data it has on that file. I can then save / print the chart as I require.

All csv files that I use for it are in the same directory, generated each day with a filename that changes only the date accordingly, (ie MyData-20110611.csv, MyData-20110612.csv etc) so ideally, on choosing the template or running the macro, I'd either only need to browse to the file required or type in the next date. They csv files are all of the same format (location of source data info are always in the same columns, starting with the same cell reference (A9 & C9), although the number of cells (rows) may differ between files, so Im thinking a dynamic cell reference is needed.

I would think what I wish to do is fairly commonplace with people that use charts all the time, and thought I may have even been able to download a template / chart from the net to do it, but haven't had any luck with that either.

Does anyone have a template / macro that does this same thing that I can modify if required for my purposes?
I'm using Excel 2010 in case that matters.

Hoping someone can be of assistance.

Thank you.

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
So is there anyone that may be able to help with this?

I was thinking it'd be something reasonably easy, just that I didn't know how to myself.

Hoping someone can assist.
Thanks
