How do you test Access for corruption of it's self ?

I was told something under Tools to use ?

Can someone help me out ?

Also, in general, how does one test a *.txt or *.csv file
for corruption ? Thank you!!!

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
It depends what you mean by corruption.

And based on your other threads I don't think corruption is your problem.:)

If it was you would be having more serious errors than input past EOF.

Under Tools>Database Utilities you'll find Compact and Repair...

Give that a go, but I still don't think that's going to solve your problem.

yes, the problem was in the input file, one of the columns was using scientific notation, when that was changed just to straight numbers, the database was fine, so the curroption issue was none-existent, it was a input file issue.

And I can't really tell if the VBA was written to account for that or what, but I am slowly learning it.
