I am using Office:Mac 2011 and am having difficulty embedding a text box in the plot area of a graph and next to where the customized header 'output' sits.

Within the plot area I want to put a formula in that makes reference to a particular cell. I seem to remember being able to do this in the past, but this was probably on an earlier version of Excel on the PC platform at work.

With the 'customized header' text box, I have a graph whose details automatically change depending on what is in a particular cell, which is a date or year. I want to give the graph a title using the customized header but which also includes the year - without me having to change it each time (if that makes sense). I am not even sure if this is possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
