Hi there,

I am trying to get text that is entered into a cell in column A to automatically create a comment and clear the visible text that was typed in the cell. I will need this to be the same for all cells in column A as text is entered.
Also, how can I have this happening in 2 columns on the same sheet?
I have searched and can't grasp the answers I need.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Marc

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
This is for columns A and C. Right click the sheet tab, select View Code and paste in

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Target.Column = 1 Or Target.Column = 3 Then
    Application.EnableEvents = False
    Target.NoteText Text:=Target.Value
    Target.ClearContents
    Application.EnableEvents = True
End If
End Sub
