Hi, I am trying to put twitter handles in a cell. ie. @blah.

When I enter @blah into a cell, excel responds with
That function is not valid

How do I prepare/format a call to allow it to contain text with a leading @ symbol?

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Yep, that works.

There must be a way to do it without the leading ' though - because I've run across another spreadsheet with cells containing @blah. I just don't know how to reproduce it.

Hi ljon
Welcome to the board

Try formatting the cell as text before entering the string.
