textbox help

ok here is my problem. I have a userform where if i input a recruitid, it will pull up the name of the recruit in the textbox firstname, and the last name of the recruit in the textbox lastname. the first one it populates is fine. after i hit the save and continue button, my entry is cleared out so i can input the next recruitid. When i do, the next name shows up vertically, not horizontally.

any ideas?
