Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Code:
Private Sub TextBox1_Change()
With TextBox1
    If .Value < 0 Then
        .BackStyle = fmBackStyleOpaque
        .BackColor = RGB(255, 0, 0)
    Else
        .BackStyle = fmBackStyleTransparent
        .BackColor = &H80000005
    End If
End With
End Sub

You also could use Conditional Formating In excel 2007
in tabs go to
Home>Styles (Conditional Formating... new RULE ... Format only cells that contain...<cell value...less="" than="" ...="" 0=""> in format select FILL and color of choice

good luck</cell>
