Anyone know a quickway to change a number field to a text field and keep the number? i have columns of cells with 12-15 digit numbers and i need to change them from number to txt. When I do they go into Scientific notation- I can get them displaying correctly only by putting the cursor in the cell for each and every cell

at one point I thought I had found a way to do that to multiple selected cells but I can't for life of me recall

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
Create a helper column with the formula =TEXT(A1, "#") and then copy those values to the original column

Or use formula =""&A1 to not round decimals
