Hi,

if I have two cells, say A1 and B1, with each having a number in them, how can I make cell C1 show whichever is the highest of those two numbers. ie, Cell C1 shows a number, that being the highest of A1 and B1.

Thanks, Paul

In C1 enter:

=MAX(A1:B1)

Any two cells...

=MAX(A1,B1)
