I have 2 desktop pcs, running excel 64 bit
pc1 = 32gb ram , intel i7 8 cores
pc2 = 16gb ram , intel i5 4 cores

pc1 calculates formulas and saves alot faster

Excel settings are the same on both pcs
i run the same large excel workbook on both pcs
Problem is on the better pc when opening the file or saving the file i get message
"there isnt enough memory to complete this action, try using less data or closing othe apps"
while the other pc has no problem running the file,

Would anyone have any ideas ?
Thanks

When i un-tick enable multi-threaded calculations , workbook will calculate , but takes a very long time
Could excel be trying to use to much ram or cpu ?
