Time, End Date

I have a project start date and a known(expected) project time. I want to find the end date excluding weekends and holidays.
I'm currently using a gantt chart layout with what I think to be and excessive amount of math and mess to find my end date. Can anyone help me with a clean and simple way to find and end date??


start date = 1-9-03
run time = 48hrs

answer = 1-12-03

jan 9, 2003 is thursday.
jan 10, 2003 is friday
jan 11, 2003 is saturday (no work)
jan 12, 2003 is sunday (no work)
jan 13, 2003 is monday (expected time)

yeah...LOL
I got 03 on the brain still.
Friday the 9th and should end monday the 12th. 24 work days.

Excluding the holidays is the tough part.

you can exclude holidays.
make a column of all the holidays you know. then give it a name.
