I need to know if excel can alert or highlight a cell if the time of day has been met.
I have a spreadsheet with 7:00 am in a cell.
Can excel alert me when 7:00 am has arrived or maybe 30 minutes prior to 7:00 am?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Can I ask why you are not using some Mail software to show a pop-up reminder? Is that you don't have Notes or Outlook?

i WORK FOR A TRUCKING COMPANY AND HAVE GENERATED A BASIC SPREADSHEET TO INDICATE TIME OF PICKUP AND TIME OF DELIVERY. I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO ANY SPECIAL SOFTWARE. I WAS JUST INQUIRING IF EXCEL COULD HIGHLIGHT A PARTICULAR CELL TO ALERT ME OF THE PICKUP OR DELIVERY TIME.

The trouble with having any calculated method of highlighting cells is that it will be dependent on a calculation taking place ... is having the highlighting happen when the sheet recalculates OK? Otherwise you may need to have some VBA to force a calculation every minute or 2 using the OnTime function ... and some way of checking that it is still in place and working.
