Hi,
I've seen that you've discussed time series charts for Excel in Windows elsewhere on your forum. However as there seems to be no Chart Wizard in Excel for Macs (is there one?!), how else can I categorise the x axis as a time series like you would usually do in step 3 of the chart wizard in Windows?

Thanks

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Which version of Mac Excel are you using?

Sorry, should've mentioned that. MS Excel 2008 for Mac.
It might also be important to mention that the date points within my time series are not evenly spaced, if that makes a difference.
Thanks for your help.

I was really hoping it wasn't 2008. I'll have to have a look when I get home as I avoid that version like the plague (especially for charts!).

You should be able to right-click the X axis, choose Format Axis, then on the Scale tab, choose Date as the axis type.
