I have a chart with 4 columns. I was wondering when I add a value in column A if in the same row in column E a time stamp could be put in automatically. Is there a VBA code that I can add into the sheet? There are a coupe other macros in place on the sheet so I would need to add it to the existing code.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
on the same worksheet I have a custom sort option in place. I usually right click and click reapply filter after adding a new row of values. Is there a way I can save the custom filter or have it apply automatically. I took a screenshot of the filter however i am not sure how to post it on this thread. thanks for your help

Since this is a separate issue you'd be better off starting a new thread.

Just from the info provided I don't think I can offer any help.
