I know this should be simple, but I am falling up short.

I am calculating total time worked and want to change it to a number. So if I have 3:30, I want to change it to 3.5.

Thanks

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hi you need to use a formula to do that.
You can't do it in the same cell because it needs some processing.

I'm guessing 3:30 is in HH:MM so
if it is in A1. You can put this is in B1
= 24 * A1

then just format B1 as numbers (with 1 or 2 decimal places) and you should be done!
