how do i keep a time and date function live??

I want to have a countdown and have done that but it does not keep up to date unless close and open it again.

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
As far as i know its not possible to have a "Active" Visual countdown timer, within excel because the formulas such as NOW() etc will only refresh when you actively do somthing within the worksheet.

You could always press delete in a empty cell, or refresh the page which will cause the functions to re-calculate.
