timer on message box

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
I don't think you can do that with a message box, although you should be able to create a modeless form that does it for you.

jimboy i already have that code running for another task that i do with the progress bar and such, all i wanted in this case is when the code is done, the last line now says

m = MsgBox("Your Summary is now complete", , "USPS")

i just get annoyed with having to click enter to get rid of the box , i would just like it do be displayed for a second then disappear on its own.

Thanks

Like I said create a modeless userform that starts a loop on open and at the end of the loop closes itself. Put your Text Message in a Text box on the form. When you show the form the loop starts, runs for a second and then unload's or hide's itself. This gives you a message box that disappears after 1 second.

Here is some code that I got earlier, sorry I dont remember from whom.

'POP UP MESSAGE BOX WITH TIMER
'2 represents number of seconds msgbox will appear for
CreateObject("WScript.Shell").Popup "Body of message.", 2, "Title"

Try searching the board as well for the keyword TIMER.
