I have problem having to many data, at least two years of monthly data with up to 12 different criterion
data is in excel type file

I used to make pivot data table for each month, then making some "dummy" table like other data base by months data and different criterion and then again making pivottable

I was wondering what is other, easier way to do this job?
any tips

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="840"><col style="width: 27pt;" width="36"> <col style="width: 42pt;" width="56"> <col style="width: 39pt;" width="52"> <col style="width: 88pt;" width="117"> <col style="width: 95pt;" width="126"> <col style="width: 64pt;" width="85" span="2"> <col style="width: 42pt;" width="56"> <col style="width: 30pt;" width="40"> <col style="width: 32pt;" width="42"> <col style="width: 46pt;" width="61"> <col style="width: 63pt;" width="84"> <tbody><tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl23" style="height: 12.75pt; width: 27pt;" width="36" height="17">A </td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 42pt;" width="56">B</td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 39pt;" width="52">C</td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 88pt;" width="117">D</td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 95pt;" width="126">E</td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 64pt;" width="85">F</td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 64pt;" width="85">G</td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 42pt;" width="56">H </td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 30pt;" width="40">I </td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 32pt;" width="42">J</td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 46pt;" width="61">K</td> <td class="xl23" style="width: 63pt;" width="84">L</td> </tr> <tr style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17"> <td class="xl22" style="height: 12.75pt;" height="17">Date</td> <td class="xl22">Country</td> <td class="xl22">Branch</td> <td class="xl22">Type of costumer</td> <td class="xl22">Group of costumer</td> <td class="xl22">ID of costumer</td> <td class="xl22">Date of Sale</td> <td class="xl22">Product</td> <td class="xl22">Price</td> <td class="xl22">Sales</td> <td class="xl22">Discount</td> <td class="xl22">Receivables</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

For each month I have these data and I need to make report from it.
As I said I used to create pivot table but it is to slowly process since I have up to 60 000 rows for one month and I need to do it for at least two last years.

Thanks,

i tried it but it doesnt fit my needs. I need larger number of columns and rows
any other tips
That's the best tip I could give.

I've created pivottables in the past from 12 separate data files with over 50000 rows in each, and more than 50 columns .... I thought your requirements were less than that.

I tried to insert new rows and columns but it doesnt work (some error occur).
I would prishieate if you put link with your 12 month report and data files

No. I can't do that. I do not have the report. It belongs to a customer that I did work for some years ago.

All you need to know is that I used one of the methods as described in the link. Experiment to see what method suits you. And if you get problems, and you'd like some help, then you'll have to give more information that some error occur.
