Total for columns does not update with filter

Hello.
I have a spreadsheet of about 300 rows, with a total at the bottom to sum two number columns. (I have 5 data columns and two amount columns.) I am sorting on a data column which removes more than half of my rows. I want to see the totals at the bottom update with only the remaining rows, but it does not update. The total remains the same number total for all 300 rows. I have another spreadsheet where this works, but I cannot figure out what is different.

Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.

Try the SUBTOTAL function.

=SUBTOTAL(9,A2:A100)
