I have written a macro to find the last blank cell in col F also then to total the sales value which is in column F but my code fails.

My code is as follows:

Code:
Range("F8").Select
    Selection.End(xlDown).Offset(1, 0).Select
    MyRow = ActiveCell.Select
    ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=SUM(R[-" & MyRow & " C:R[-1]C)"

Could you please help
Regards

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
You could:

Code:
a = Range("F8").End(xlDown).Offset(1, 0).Row
Cells(a, 6).Formula = "=SUM(F1:F" & a - 1 & ")"

a holds the row where the formula is put. You want to sum from row one to one row above the formula. (a-1)
