Track Changes - Limitations & Workaround

For Track changes, I know there are limitations out there (cannot delete wkbks, or use conditional formatting, create pivots etc.), but what else can be done to track w/out limitations?


What are some of the solutions out there? Third party apps that work with Excel?

The existing forums don't really help. I did find a forum outside of MrExcel that is close. Here is the code that was suggested:

I'm fairly new to VBA and want to know where would I find the hidden file once I run the code? </PRE>

As far as I can see that code doesn't hide a sheet. It is writing a log to Sheet1 and its password is Secret.
