I am working on a spreadsheet to track expired items. I have the sheet built and color coded certain timeframes based on the date the spreadsheet is opened and changed. I am wondering if there is a way to track the number of items that has expired and was removed along with a cost of all items that has expired within the same spreadsheet?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Hi, welcome to the Mr. Excel forum.
The forum would be more than willing to help. But, you need to post some data and expected results. Mr. Excel has a tool called xl2bb add in (link below) that allows you to post portions of your worksheet(s) into your thread comments. Please remember to anonymize data. If you cannot use that tool, then post as table, but you'll need to describe the columns and rows (Letter and Number), formulas.

What do you mean by removed? Are you deleting them from your worksheet (if that case you can't count what isn't there). But, if you have some kind of calculation or status that indicates a status, then yes. But, you need to share that with the forum.

Thanks in advance.
