TransferSpreadsheet with a variable file name

Hello.

I am trying to figure out how to import a file daily using a Macro, but the file name is the current date.

What is the best way to accomplish this? Thank you.

If you create a macro to do it (using TransferSpreadsheet), you can use the "Convert Macros to Visual Basic" feature to convert that macro to VBA code. In VBA, you can make the code dynamic.

Here is a simple example of building a file name based on today's date:

MyImportFileName = "C:\MyFiles\" & Format(Now(),"yyyymmdd") & ".xls"
