trying to make Application.Goto Reference:="R97411C9" dynamic?

Hi,

as the title really...

I recored a macro that utilises the "Go to" function but the reference for the "go to" was copied from a cell (that has formula to set to go to cell) but although when recording the macro I pasted in this changable cell result the recording is fixed to the original reference...

so how do I make the "R97411C9" part of this line > Application.Goto Reference:="R97411C9" be copied from a cell rather than fixed as it is at the moment...

Like this. Cell A1 must contain RC values or it will fail

Application.Goto Reference:=Range("A1").Value

this has been hurting my happiness all day!

So Im creating a reference in a cell from another sheet, effectively its counting the number of rows of data in an export and returing the row number of the last line of data... EG 10000

Im then using concatenate to create the reference I10000 EG =concatenate("I","last row number")

Im then using this ref for the Application.Goto Reference... so my next question is...

The column is always going to be I but the row number will change...

so how do I create the RC reference from I10000???

Application.Goto Reference:=Range(Range("A1").Value)

So you don't want to go to the value of a cell? You just want to go to the last cell?

Hi Steve,

its alright, I managed to suss it out! but wouldnt of been able to do it without our input...

the sheet Im putting together is hard to explain over text like this...
