Hello,
I have a column of date values that look like this:
<TABLE style="WIDTH: 118pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=157><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 118pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 5741" width=157><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; WIDTH: 118pt; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 width=157 align=right>Monday, May 02, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Monday, May 02, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Monday, May 02, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Monday, May 02, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Tuesday, May 03, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Tuesday, May 03, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Tuesday, May 03, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Wednesday, May 04, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Thursday, May 05, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Thursday, May 05, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Thursday, May 05, 2011</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #dce6f1; HEIGHT: 15pt; BORDER-TOP: #95b3d7 0.5pt solid; BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8" class=xl65 height=20 align=right>Thursday, May 05, 2011</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I found that these dates were not grouping together properly and found that some cells - for a reason i cant figure out - has a time value stamp as well. So some cells when looking in the formula bar look like this:
6/6/2011 4:08:48 PM

I need to remove these cells. i tried to do this using the following methods:
I copied and pasted values only
I tried to format cells to show date only
I tried to use text to columns

Nothing helped.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Nathan

Nothing has helped

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
This helped me as well - I had the "INT" code, but neglected to format the resulting cell! Thanks VERY much!
