I have a cell that calculates a number from another cell. I'd like to be able have another calculation in the same cell. Is that possible?
Current formula:
=E6/7

For that formula, the answer is 4.0. I want the return to show: 4.0 (2 scoops)

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
how do you define the 2 scoops , does that depend on the result

=E6/7 & " (2 scoops)"

May need to Format the answer for 1 decimal

=TEXT( E6/7, "0.0") & " (2 scoops)"

I was trying to edit when my connection timed out. :)

=E6/7 then take that answer and divide by 1.1.

You do not show us the second formula. Something like:

=TEXT(E6/7, "0.0") & " (" & TEXT(E7*1.234, "0") & " scoops)"

It is important to use TEXT in order to control the format of the calculations.

So:

=TEXT(E6/7, "0.0") & " (" & TEXT(E6/7/1.1, "0") & " scoops)"
or
=TEXT(E6/7, "0.0") & " (" & TEXT(E6/7.7, "0") & " scoops)"
You beat me to it. The return on the first formula must be rounding up which is OK. Thank you.
Edit: I see changing 0 to 1.1 fixes that

TEXT rounds, not necessarily rounds __up__. To round up:

=ROUNDUP(E6/7, 1) & " (" & ROUNDUP(ROUNDUP(E6/7, 1)/1.1, 0) & " scoops)"

ROUNDUP(E6/7.7, 0) might be sufficient. I would have to give that more thought to be sure.
