when i have one pivot on one sheet, the excel 2007 speed is ok even though the datasource is from another workbook.

However, when i have two pivots [pivot A & pivot B]side by side on one sheet, the sheet becomes slow and the screen update slows down. when i scroll down for example, it takes time.

The datasource of A is linked to another workbook which is called datasourceA.xls
The datasource of B is linked to another workbook which is called datasourceB.xls

Both datasource have formulas in columns for the entire row.

is there any way i can improve the performance when i have two pivots on one sheet?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
anyone? is it a bad thing to have tow pivots on one sheet from two different external source?
