Type 16 digit number in Excell...but last digit converts into 0..need help

Hello All,

Need help on below.

when i type the following (or) any 16 digit number in Excell. It converts the last digit into 0.

when i type this digit... 2332343062176745....i get 2332343062176740.

But this is not the case with 15 digit number.

Can you please help.

Excel will only display numbers to 15 digits. To display 16 characters you need to convert the number to text by preceding it with ' or formatting the cell as Text before entering the number.
