Hi,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I'm using an if argument to return part of the cell characters. ex; if column contains ,
Column A
Delta Airlines
American Airlines
Virgin America

I want to return "Delta" to Cell B1. I'm using =IF(ISNA(MATCH("*"&"DELTA"&"*"..... but now i have more than seven arguments to include, so thought coming up with a UDF. can someone help me find a solution , Thanks

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
