Hello,
I have a excel spreadsheet where I created data dependencies in certain columns. Now when I set up 'Invalid Data' message for invalid data entry it is not working. I can still enter data that is not in the drop down and do not get a Error message. Please help. Thanks

Here are samples of DV formulas I am using.

UseList1=INDEX(ValDatanew,1,MATCH(NEWDATA!J2,Class!$1:$1,0)):INDEX(ValDatanew,Counter2,MATCH(NEWDATA!J2,Class!$1:$1,0))

UseList =INDEX(ValData,1,MATCH(NEWDATA!J2,Lists!$1:$1,0)):INDEX(ValData,Counter,MATCH(NEWDATA!J2,Lists!$1:$1,0))
