Today the Excel suddenly give these errors:

a. Trying to compile raises this error: "Sub or function not defined"
I checked - the sub exists.

b. Open a specific module to view code: "Invalid data format"

Thing is, these programs have been working fine.

Anyone encounter these errors recently?
Could this be due to recent updates to MS Office?

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Just tried running the application again, and I get the same problem:

For a particular module, if I try to view the code, I get a pop-up dialog box saying "Invalid data format".
Tried to delete this module...get the same error message.
But I can open all other modules in this application.

This error module contains only 1 statement - to open a user form.
And it had work since the application was installed, over a year ago.

Anyone encounter this error before?

I am now running Microsoft 365 version 2301, and is happy to announce that the error has been resolved.
The error appeared in version 2212.
