Hi,

I am using the below macro which I have assigned to a button in order to unhide and hide columns. However; I now need the user to have to insert a password to activate the macro. The password can either be just for showing the columns or hiding them as well, whatever works best.

Any hep is appreciated.

Sub Manager_Section()
Columns("BP:BZ").Hidden = Not Columns("BP:BZ").Hidden
End Sub

Thanks

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
See if this does what you want (change the password to your choice of course)

VBA Code:
Sub Manager_Section()
  If Application.InputBox("Enter password") = "abc" Then Columns("BP:BZ").Hidden = Not Columns("BP:BZ").Hidden
End Sub
