Hello,

I found a tip on Mr Excel that has been great however I need to reverse the process.
"You could change the font colour to white for that grand total. The
column will appear empty, and the results will stay hidden, even if you
pivot the data in the table."

Can anyone please help me on how to return the Grand Total to showing? I have tried to select the cell and set to black but that doesn't work

Thank you very much in advance!

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.

Click on the Pivot table
Select the Design tab
Look at Layout.
Grand Total
Select On for Column if you want in below the table or On for Rows if you want it on the far right of the table.

Just a parenthesis:
That was not a very sound advice.
You can just hide whatever you do not need from the layout portion, including subtotals.
Or you can hide unwanted Rows or Columns or data from the filters.
