Union method

Does union not work on putting together ranges from different sheets?
I am trying to get the categories for a chart from one sheet and the data from a nother as one range for plotting

Select the data part, make the chart, then alter the SERIES in the formula bar to point to the categories:

=SERIES(,Sheet12!$B$9:$B$11,Sheet9!$A$5:$A$7,1)

... the part in bold added afterwards.

An for future reference, to answer your original question, no it doesn't.

The Union method returns a Range object. "A Range object is contained within a Worksheet object. The Excel object model does not support three-dimensional Range objects that span multiple worksheets..."
