I have been trying to find a way to create a chart representing a united states map. I have regional sales data that I would like to chart on this map. Not sure why this map is not bundled into excel as I have found many requests for this based on google searches. I did find an older Microsoft product called map point (I think that's the name), but that's not what I am looking for. Looking for a true excel integrated solution where the chart is embedded in a page of my workbook and can be refreshed along with my other charts.

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
There is the possibility to use something called Fusion Charts, it is a 3rd party product and you can embed them into Excel workbooks, take a look at the samples here

http://www.fusioncharts.com/gallery/

Then do a search for Fusion Charts in Excel
