I have the following workbook:

Normally a worksheet contains two pieces of information: Name and Codename.

Sheet789 conforms to that.

Can someone please tell me what are the others, eg Sheet79, Sheet8, etc. Notes their icons are different to Sheet789's.

There also appears to be two ThisWorkbook modules, ThisWorkbook and ThisWorkbook1.

How can I remove the Sheet79, Sheet8 "things" as well as the Thisworkbook1?

Thanks

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Those are all workbook modules & it looks as though your workbook has become corrupted.

Thanks.

My "solution" would be to move all "proper" worksheets to a new workbook.

Do you have any other suggestions to uncorrupt the workbook?

I would not move the sheets, but copy/paste the data into a new book & then do the same for any code.
Thanks.

I assume when you say data, you mean any formulae will need to be copied over to the new workbook too?
