I'm using Excel 2007 on W7.
I have a pivot table on the Summary tab showing data from the BOG table on the 'BOG & Cash' tab. The sample table can be downloaded here.

If I change any of the pivot table options, such as adding a blank row after each item, the formatting in column C changes from the custom format I have for local currency. Same thing happens if I refresh the data. Can this be fixed so as to leave the formatting as is? I have ensured the 'preserve formatting when update' box is checked, but doesn't help.
Second question, if I click the subtotal option, it formats the date in dd-mm-yy numeric format. I cannot find where to change this format to match the rest of the table to dd-mmm-yy format.
Third question, can I set up this table to show monthly subtotals rather than daily?
Thank you,
JIM
