So I have no idea if this is even possible so here is goes, Can I update something in say Cell c1 and can I get the date it was updated to show in a different cell? So everytime I update C1 the date will change to the date I changed it each time. I have a whole list of equipment that I need to update the milage on periodically. The problem is it happens so sporadically that and we don't exactly trust the drivers to hand in the paperwork in a timely manner. So I am trying to figure out ways to see when it was last updated.

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
You would need VBA for that, is that an option for you?

I just had to look up what VBA was, it does not seem it would be an option for me, I guess I will have to do it old school and physically change the date

Without VBA I think that would be the only way.
A formula cannot detect if a cell value has changed & even if it could you would need to use the TODAY function, which would change every day & therefore be of no use.
