Updating cells after formating using a macro

I have a column that has date & time in mm/dd/yyyy hh:mmss XM format. When I use <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Selection.NumberFormat =”m/d/yy in a macro the column is not updating until I click into the cell and do a hard return. <o></o>
<o> </o>
What am I missing???<o></o>

It sounds like you have text entries that look like dates. To convert them you should be able to use Data|Text To Columns checking Date at Step 3.
