I am very new to Excel. I want to put a date in one cell and have it update the date in another cell for 72 days later.
also does anyone have a suggestion on a book for common questions.

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Put the current date in cell A1. In cell B1 put the formula =A1 +72. That should add 72 days to the date in A1. Make sure it is formatted as a date if it doesn't work the first time.
