Greetings...
I run a query on our AS400 then download it to excel. Get everything set up and all formulas placed and save. When I run again on the AS400 and hit Refresh on excel, my formula reference skips lines.
For example the formula in I34:
=IF(A34="","",ISNUMBER((SEARCH("KEY",E34))))
I35 should be:
=IF(A35="","",ISNUMBER((SEARCH("KEY",E35))))
But it comes back as:
=IF(A56="","",ISNUMBER((SEARCH("KEY",E56))))

Obviously throwing off the entire sheet from line 35 on down.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
