I hope some one can help me!

I got a dump sheet ( this is my first sheet) in this sheet i made some audit calculations. now i want to make a summary sheet ( this is my second sheet) of all the rows from my dump sheet where the audit result is not 0. but the problem is that the first column from my dump sheet contains a clickable hyperlink. If i use a lookup formula it gives me only the value back without the hyperlink! is there a solution for this problem?

If there are any questions please let me know

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
If you use the Hyperlink function it allows you to convert a cell value into a hyperlink, with an optional second statement of a friendly name, but leaving this out will give you the exact link from your cell as is.

this does not work because the dump has the url in the cell. this link is not made by me but by a program were i export the dump from.

Can you post an example?

For instance if I have a hyperlink value in cell A1 of www.google.co.uk and I put a formula in B1 of "=A1" then it will not automatically make it a hyperlink. But if I use the formula "=hyperlink(a1)" then it will change it to a hyperlink again.

For Example i got the number 20 in cell A1 ( dump sheet) if you click on the 20 than you will be redirected to a site. Now i want that link to come back on my summery sheet but when i use a lookup formula than you will only get the 20 for result and you can not click on this number because the link is not there any more.

I understand now.

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to do this via formulae or formatting, it would have to be done using VBA scripting (using the hyperlink value selector) and I'm not that great at writing macros yet :(.

Fingers crossed one of the other folks can help you out.

Hello Shaak, and welcome to the board.

Can you please describe to us in more detail the structure of the dump sheet (i.e. name, and the range that the data occupies)?

And can you please describe to us the process you are using to collect this data into the summary sheet? Again an idea for the structure of the sheet and please also post the formula that you are using?

Do you need to keep the Lookup formula or can a static table be generated?
