I need to set the background colour of individual cells in a spreadsheet, which is relatively simple using Conditional formatting.
However, I also have the requirement to change or add colours from time to time, so I thought I would set up a vlookup table as below :-
and create a suitable Vlookup formula for a range of target cells using conditional formatting but I seem to have hit a roadblock.
The requirement is to set up a Conditional format for a column of data, that contains data that will be inserted within the Prime column of the above vlookup table, when a match is found in the Prime colum of the above table, then the Colour in the next column of the Vlookup table is used to colour the target cell.
Can this be done please?
