Hi all,

I've made a userform to calculate all kind of stuff.
To make it userfriendly, I want to check input before calculation.
Currently it checks on 0-value and on ""-value.

My question:
How do I check on:
1) decimal separator not being "," (must be a dot)
2) input not being a character (must be a number)

Any easy suggestions? Or do I need a workaround looping over length of input?

Thanks very much!

Guido

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
For 1 you can use InStr to check to see if there's a comma, or format the entry with Format.

For 2 you can use IsNumeric to check if it's a valid entry.

All three are covered in the VB Helpfile.
