Guys

I'm having trouble using option buttons on a user form. The form has 4 option buttons and I'd like to be able to activate these independantly ie have more than one selected if appropriate but at the moment I can only have one active at a time.

I've managed to get this to work by having 4 frames on the form but this looks a bit cluttered, is there any way to set each button to work independantly of the others without using frames

Thanks

Jim

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Or use check boxes. Check boxes are normally used to select yes/no or on/off values independently of each other for a number of entities whereas option buttons are normally used to select which of a number of options you require for a single entity.

Just an alternative suggestion.

Thanks Guys

I'd already tried grouping the option boxes but thought I had to give them all the same name, of course it worked great when I named them differently DOH !!

In the end I've gone with Ruddlees suggestion as checkboxes allow the user to deselect options if necessary

Cheers
